Sharpshooter Award – Individual: Three-way tie between Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Pavel Datsyuk of the Detroit Red Wings, and Michael Raffl of the Philadelphia Flyers, all of whom found the back of the net 4 times this week.
Sharpshooter Award – Team: Awarded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, who beat the opposing goalies 14 times this week.
“Defense?” Award: Tie between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the New York Islanders, who conceded 14 goals.
Teammate Award: Three-way tie between Tyler Johnson of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Thomas Vanek of the Minnesota Wild, and Jakub Voracek of the Philadelphia Flyers, who each provided 4 helpers this week.
“Get on the ice” Award: Awarded to Ryan Suter of the Minnesota Wild, who held a rating of +6 this week.

Leaky Award: Awarded to Evgeni Nabokov of the Tampa Bay Lightning, who was pulled in his only game this week and held a 13.91 GAA.

Key Games this week: Look for the Pittsburgh Penguins to add to their points total and continue their winning streak tonight against the lowly Buffalo Sabres, whose entire roster (except for Nikita Zadorov) has a rating in the negatives. Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals take on the Tampa Bay Lightning, as Ovechkin tries to retake the team lead in points. The Dallas Stars take on the Minnesota Wild in what should be a very entertaining game. Struggling Carolina Hurricanes hope that tonight’s game against the Arizona Coyotes will break them out of their funk. Injury-stricken Columbus Blue Jackets face off against a cohesive New Jersey Devils unit.
