St Louis Blues are likely out on Ryan Suter after contract talks
As multiple sources keep coming in it looks like the Blues and Ryan Suter will not be reaching a deal.
Initially it looks like although both sides had good interest, Suter is asking for a longer deal than the Blues can currently feel comfortable offering him.
As Andy Strickland states a potential 4-year deal is what Ryan Suter is throwing out there for his next contract.
Told #stlblues are out on Dman Ryan Suter. There was very strong mutual interest but St. Louis couldn’t meet the term. Don’t be surprised if Suter signs for as many as four years.

This of course doesn’t mean the Blues are officially out on signing Suter but it’s not looking likely anymore as we inch closer to NHL free agency this upcoming Wednesday.
