The Las Vegas Golden Knights acquire Evgenii Dadonov from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Nick Holden and a 3rd Round Draft Pick in 2022.

Dadonov was selected by the Florida Panthers in the third round (No. 71) of the 2007 NHL Draft. He came to North America for the 2009-10 season, made his NHL debut against the Ottawa Senators on April 6, 2010 and played in the Panthers’ final four games of the season.
He scored his first NHL goal against the Carolina Hurricanes on Dec. 15, 2010 and finished the 2010-11 season with eight goals and nine assists in 36 games. The Russia-born forward had 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists) for the Panthers from 2009-10 through 2011-12.
After being traded to the Carolina Hurricanes on Jan. 18, 2012 and finishing the season in the American Hockey League, Dadonov returned to Russia and played in the Kontinental Hockey League, two seasons with Donbass and three with SKA Saint Petersburg.
Dadonov became a free agent after the 2016-17 season and signed a three-year contract with the Panthers on July 1, 2017. In 74 games, he scored 65 points (28 goals, 37 assists), finishing fourth on the Panthers in scoring and second in goals. He had 21 multipoint games, including two hat tricks.
