Four NHL Teams to Take Their Talents Overseas for Regular Season Games in Europe
The NHL is working hard to expand the NHL Global Series in order to continue to grow the game internationally. The NHL has made it a regular trip since 2018, excluding COVID seasons, and the trend will continue in 2023/24. While the annual trip to Europe has always been on the agenda, the league is also making its first journey to Australia as part of the Global Series.
The NHL sent the Nashville Predators, San Jose Sharks, Colorado Avalanche, and Columbus Blue Jackets to Europe last season, and it was a huge success. The NHL confirmed today which clubs will go to Europe next season.

The league will try to sell some of their best European stars, including William Nylander, Tim Stutzle, Kirill Kaprisov, and Mortiz Seider. This should be an incredible experience because the atmosphere in Europe is always top-notch for these types of games.
