Deadline Deals: Raphael Diaz to New York Rangers/5th Rounder to Vancouver
Defenseman Raphael Diaz has been dealt for the second time this season. This time he lands in New York.
He was only able to play six games in Vancouver after having been traded by Montreal earlier this calendar year.
He has 13 points in 52 games this season, and 43 and 134 career games.
Vancouver continues to make moves in what appears to be an on-the-fly rebuild. Star forward Ryan Kesler has not been traded, which allows the Canucks to stay in the playoff picture.
