Bruins Defeat Canadiens 2-1. Cammalleri Traded During Game!
Tonight, during the Boston Bruins defeat of the Montreal Canadiens 2-1, Mike Cammalleri was sent back to his hotel room before the start of the 3rd period and told he had been traded. Cammalleri will be rejoining his former team, the Calgary Flames! After his comments about the struggling Canadiens, it appears the organization has deemed it best to send him to Calgary. The Flames will be sending Rene Bourque, a 2013 second round draft pick, and prospect Patrick Holland to the Canadiens for Cammalleri, a 2012 fifth round draft pick, and the rights to Kari Ramo as part of the deal. Apparently being honest can lead to sudden change. Is it for the better? We will see how these teams fair in the coming weeks!
