This could be a big plus for the Canadiens if Joel Armia is ready to go tonight for Game 1.

Joel Armia is on a private jet down to Tampa right now after getting clearance, per Canadiens assistant Luke Richardson. He is a gametime decision.

The fact he is traveling down prior to puck drop with the intentions of playing is obviously a good sign.

Looks like we won’t know for sure until basically puck drop if he is playing in Game 1 but this encouraging sign should make all Habs fans happier to know.
