Jack Eichel is interested in playing for the Boston Bruins
The North Chelmsford, Mass. native fueled speculation about potentially joining the Bruins during his recent interview with Boston 25 News’ Sara Underwood. Asked if he “could ever see himself in Boston,” Eichel entertained the idea.
"Jack, come to Boston!" @sara_underwood interviewed NHL star Jack Eichel for the first Zip Trip of the summer. Did you know he's from North Chelmsford?

“I think every kid grows up dreaming of playing for their hometown teams,” Eichel said. “Whether that happens now, later in my career … whenever, who knows, if it ever happens. It would be pretty cool, but who knows what’s gonna happen here in the next little bit.”
Eichel is the biggest name on the NHL trade rumor mill this summer. Last month, Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic reported trade talks involving Eichel were “getting more intense.” The 24-year-old has five years left on his deal with a $10 million annual cap hit.
