The city of Montreal was on full party mode after the Canadiens clinched their way to the Stanley Cup Finals with a 3-2 overtime victory in Game 6 against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Montreal police said fans were just rowdy as hell while setting off fireworks, fighting and even attacking police officers.
At one point, a group of Habs fans clearly wearing Habs gear smashed up a police car and flipped it upside down (photos and videos below of incident).
Police used tear gas to break up the chaos and eventually arrested 15 people while issuing citations to an additional 60 rioters. Here are many photos and videos of what took place in celebration after a 28 year hiatus from a SCF appearance.

I grew up playing Ball and Roller Hockey day and night somewhat religiously throughout elementary and middle school. The two don't compare though when I lace up the skates and hit the ice. I live and breathe hockey beyond the perspective of "it's just a game" and I will gladly talk hockey for hours with anyone. Hockey is more than just a lifestyle, it's a culture of passionate people who make memories every time the puck is dropped. Hockey has not only helped me get through some of the hardest times in life but has created some of the best memories to date. Want to talk hockey with me? Shoot me an email: iburdetskiy@hookedonhockey.com and let's talk some hockey!
