Ottawa Senators GM Bryan Murray Has Been Diagnosed With Cancer
Question marks arose when Steve Simmons wrote the following in his Sundaycolumn:
Best wishes to Bryan Murray who’s struggling with some health issues.
A day later the Senators confirmed that Ottawa’s general manager and president of hockey operations has been diagnosed with cancer. Little is known regarding the details of the diagnosis, but the organization has urged that his family’s privacy be respected at this time.
According to the press release, Murray will be off duty periodically for treatment and assistant general managers Pierre Dorion and Randy Lee will manage hockey operations in his absence.
